Bentley unveils the new Continental GT ‘Sporting’
After launching its up-market handbag collection, Bentley comes-back to refined sporting cars lovers with a Continental GT V8 Sport line, long-awaited for.
This new series stands out Bentley’s come-back to the ‘Sporting’ category. In this particular segment, Bentley has thought of rebranding the trademark by including more agility and high performance handling.
The new comers are available in two distinct models for an on-road better satisfaction: Coupe and Convertible. The Continental GT V8 S invites you into discovering an absolute racing driver universe, with its lowered sports suspension and a revisited steering to offer a higher precision and reactivity.
These jewels, newly made, embody a sober aesthetic dimension. Even so, their simplicity rhymes with elegance: The ‘S’ signature is distinguished by twenty-inch wheels and red-painted brake calipers combined with redefined pneumatics.
The high performance aspect is also taken into consideration: A V8 4 liter twin turbo engine reaching up to 528 horse power, an eight-speed automatic transmission conceived by the Specialist ZF. To point out further details, there is a slight difference in terms of peak speed: The coupe and convertible, in this order, show 309 and 308 km/h and a 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 and 4.7 seconds.
All in all, Bentley pampers once again its prestigious clientele by 17 upholsteries with entirely customizable colors, the chrome and wood finishes (varnished up to 18 times) and a touch-screen entertainment system, for a more thrilling driving experience.
