World premiere of the new Engler V12
In a world where the trend is towards smaller engines, fewer cylinders and the rise of hybrid vehicles, Engler is setting itself apart by taking a decidedly different path. The brand plans to produce ten units a year of its new model, the V12 Superquad, marking a world premiere.
A unique design for an exceptional quad
The Engler Superquad is designed to accommodate a single rider, who adopts a riding position similar to that of a superbike, with controls integrated into the handlebars. Underneath its bodywork, this innovative vehicle rests on a carbon fibre chassis, complemented by titanium components manufactured using 3D printing, and double wishbones at all four corners for suspension. Weighing just 1,200 kg, the Superquad is fitted with Brembo brakes, hidden behind 20-inch SMW forged magnesium wheels.
Cutting-edge power and technology
The identity of the Superquad’s engine will be revealed over the next twelve months. What is already certain is that the Engler V12 will be equipped with a special gearbox, an eight-speed dual clutch capable of handling over 1,200 Nm of torque and an impressive 1,200 horsepower. This transmission, called a ‘micro-box’ by Engler, allows gears to be shifted via an eight-speed DCT developed in-house. For those who find 1200bhp too much, an alternative version offering 700bhp will also be available.
In terms of suspension, the Superquad features an independent double wishbone made from forged aluminium alloy and titanium, accompanied by coil springs and electronically controlled dampers, ensuring optimum handling and performance.
With these technical features and a bold approach, Engler is redefining industry standards with its V12 Superquad, combining performance and technical innovation.
