Lamborghini launches its luxury smartphone: Antares
After celebrating its 50th anniversary during the last Geneva Motor Show and presenting the new supercar: Veneno Roadster, the Italian manufacturer Lamborghini embarks on the luxury smartphone market thanks to its subsidiary: Tonino Lamborghini.
Antares, a low-powered motor
At a price around 4.000 Euros, one would expect a real little high-tech gem. But, technically, Antares displays a classical set up similar to the smartphones already sold on the market:
- 1.5 GHz high-performance quad-core processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 4-inch touchscreen
- 32 GB internal memory & a slot for micro SD cards
- Yamaha speakers
- 13-megapixel rear facing camera
- 5-megapixel front-facing camera
Nothing exceptional under the bonnet but a tremendous design, which reminds the stylist curves and the angles of the brand.

Tonino Lamborghini, designer of luxury goods, has known how to preserve the sporty and breath taking signature of all the Lamborghini cars by creating a luxury smartphone with smooth contours and strict lines. Impossible then to go unnoticed in the street with Antares! The Italian designer stretches the limits of the ostentatious by offering a variety of colors, including an optional 24K gold finish. All the models feature a handcrafted stainless steel body and come with a leather rear panel. The elegant finish of details demonstrate, once more, the commitment to perfection of Lamborghini.
The Antares smartphone will be available in China and Russia during December. The European consumers will have to wait until spring 2014 to purchase one of this appealing and luxury smartphone.
