Designed by the Fairmont group’s team of American designers, Wilson & Associates, the new design concept is a tribute to the Riviera style, a blend of relaxed elegance, and nautical themes expressing a glamorous way of life. A range of Mediterranean colours, elegant materials and sophisticated lines, the Fairmont Monte Carlo exemplifies an experience from a sleek, luxurious yacht to the most beautiful transatlantic liners.
With 602 room, suites and residences, two restaurants and bars, a casino, a pool between sky and sea, a Willow Stream spa and its Fitness Centre, a hair salon, shopping arcade, 18 conference and meeting rooms, the most luxurious of cruise ships is a magnificent hotel, anchored at the Monte-Carlo’s Casino.
Invitation to a virtual cruise
Located on the most famous bend of the F1 Grand Prix circuit, the Fairmont Hairpin, the new design of the entrance marks the first sign of the changes at the hotel. A wall of running water, evoking the new maritime spirit of the hotel, landscaped grounds, a large glass canopy covering the entrance like a transparent sail, the Fairmont Monte Carlo welcomes you aboard. This new reception design highlights the sense of service at the Fairmont Monte Carlo and our mission to make every arrival a personalised experience. From the new lobby, the Mediterranean sea views reflect brilliant lighting from our marbled flooring, and mahogany wall coverings.
On the door to each room a porthole sets the scene that we are at sea. Behind the door, a large room of 30 square meters, comfortable and bright, wide open on a terrace that provided the most beautiful views in Monte-Carlo. With rooms overlooking the hotel’s garden views, the Mediterranean Sea, the Grand Prix Formula 1 or the Principality of Monaco, it will be harder to choose.

A strong and motivated team formed by 70 cooks and headed by Executive Chef Philippe Joannès, Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France) is in charge of the fabulous taste of the cruising. Each and every one of them strives for service quality, product excellence in each of the restaurants and bars of the Fairmont Monte Carlo.
On the roof-top of the hotel called the “7th floor – 7th heaven”, the Horizon restaurant awaits you. Between sea and sky, with an outstanding terrace, it offers a cruise of Mediterranean colours and flavours with a breathtaking 360 degrees view on the Principality of Monaco: the Harbour, the Palace, the Opera Garnier, the Casino, the Riviera and finally the sea in all its splendour. On this same terrace, the Deck of the Horizon restaurant welcomes guests with its woodland setting for a pleasant meal, all day long. Last but not least, the Champagne Bar proposes a relaxing moment while sipping a glass of champagne from a selection of 40 exclusive references.
As a bridge suspended over the Mediterranean, the Saphir 24, lounge & bar offers, with its fabulous bay windows, a panoramic view over the Pointe de la Vigie, the sea and the yachts of the Monaco’s harbour. Comfortable and relaxed space thanks to its warm colours, the bar is open 24h/24 – 7d/7 and offers exclusive cocktails and new menus for lunch on the deck. At the end of the day, hushed atmosphere makes the ideal stopover to prepare the evening on the DJ music rhythm from 10pm to 2am.

Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa, the acclaimed and highly influential celebrity Chef and owner of Nobu restaurants has settled down in the Principality of Monaco at the Fairmont Monte Carlo! Nobu Fairmont Monte Carlo provides a new elegant and cosy atmosphere featuring a magnificent bar, a lounge area, 2 exclusive private spaces and a sushi bar. A terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea offers tables with the most beautiful views of France, Italy and Monaco.

Inspired by the light, the colour and the magic of the sea, the last born of Fairmont Monte Carlo reflects the vital energy of the Cote d’Azur and the Mediterranean. Situated in the 7th floor and directly connected to the Fitness Centre and the pool, brings inside the sensational energy and power of the sea with its rich compositions, its colours and the eternal marine beauty. Build by the architectural firm Wilson Associates, the 900 m² Willow Stream Spa offers, with 8 intimate spaces, luxurious and spacious enjoying natural light and a magnificent view of the Opera Garnier, the Palace and the Casino.
All the treatment rooms are equipped with private balconies, steam showers with rain aspect, colour therapy and aromatherapy. More generally, customers are provided with a Nail Spa for manicure and pedicure, a private room to provide care themselves, a fair treatment for people with reduced mobility. Finally, customers can enjoy a space with a selection of local treasures products and Willow Stream Energy, Kerstin Florian International, Aromatherapy Associates and Jane Iredale Mineral makeup products.
The Fairmont Monte Carlo provides also a Fitness Centre, the ideal place to relax while maintaining his body in an idyllic setting. The pool area on the roof of the hotel has been redesigned to incorporate a contemporary touch that takes advantage of panoramic view over the Mediterranean Sea, the famous hairpin turn of the Grand Prix Formula 1, The Fairmont Hairpin, and the legendary Opera Garnier. The pool is heated all year, maintained at a temperature of 86°F during winter, and benefits of lounge area.

The Fairmont Monte Carlo proposes an in-house “Sun Casino”, the only casino of the Principality offering American games. Located in the lobby, the Casino is a privileged and padded place where guests can play until the end of the night while enjoying a glass of champagne or a cocktail.
