Even if it remained discrete for its first years, Ortolani house realized personalised motorcycles since 2009. Three two-wheels passionate have built this garage, and they now have decided to expose their realisations, offering us an amazing show with their Ducati 1199 Polished Panigale.
A colossal challenge
As with many customs, Ducati 1199 Polished Panigale comes from a particular request with a Ducati Panigale 1199S from 2014 as a basis. Everything has started with a sketch and envy: to realise the simplest motorcycle. But as the basis model was a hypersports one, nothing was acquired for the team!
Yet, Ortolani team has worked hard to satisfy their customer’s needs, beginning with harmonious and plausible design, without altering the Ducati’s nature. Then, Ducati 1199 Polished Panigale appears truly sublime and like no other, as a flamboyant new motorcycle.
On Ducati 1199 Polished Panigale, aesthetic don’t compromise the component’s congestion. Ortolani team wished to handcraft as many components as possible in polished aluminium to bring unparalleled appearance to the motorcycle. So the garage has built the rear part of the bike including brake light, fuel tank, side shrouds, the shoe, front fender and many others important components…
Shiny new bike
Ducati 1199 Polished Panigale’s owner was able to find a particularly refined bike, with unparalleled sense of detail. Italian prowess then meets French style.
So the whole Ducati 1199 Polished Panigale was polished and some components have been bought like the brown-leather saddle from NMB Designs, that brings undeniable comfort to the driver while preserving the so-researched aesthetic of the bike, but also Akrapovic enhanced exhaust, as well as a Superquadro L-Twin with larger piston set and Brembo brakes, racing carbon ceramic discs and OZ Racing forged rims delicately covered by Michelin tyres.
