Rolls-Royce “Amethyst” the second Droptail model revealed
Just a few days after the announcement of “La Rose Noire”, Rolls-Royce reveals a second unique model in its Droptail range, named “Amethyst Droptail”.
The second Droptail gem
The “Amethyst Droptail” is an exceptional car in many aspects. First of all, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll come across this marvel on the street, as it’s produced in a single edition. This creation is inspired by amethyst, a precious stone of unparalleled beauty. Its violet bodywork comes in a spectacular mosaic, evoking the rich nuances of this precious stone.
But that’s not all: the Amethyst Droptail is also adorned with a number of precious stones, notably inside the driver’s cab. The manufacturer explains that this unique creation is also inspired by the Globe Amaranth, a wild flower that grows in the desert, where the mysterious owner of this rolling jewel lives.
Outstanding expertise
For the first time, Rolls-Royce has produced a grille with a hand-polished and hand-brushed finish, requiring over 50 hours of work to achieve perfection.
Below the grille, the lower air intake is a work of art in itself, made of a lightweight composite material printed by Rolls-Royce and adorned with 202 hand-polished stainless steel ingots, all tinted in the Globe Amaranth shade.
The interior of the “Amethyst Droptail” is a celebration of luxury and craftsmanship. Dark wood and leather blend harmoniously with purple accents.
The centerpiece of the dashboard is a clock made in Geneva by Vacheron Constantin, with a hand-wound movement. The owner even has the option of removing it and wearing it separately, making it a luxury accessory in its own.
With the “Amethyst Droptail”, Rolls-Royce continues to innovate and push back the boundaries of automotive luxury, offering its privileged customers unique creations that embody elegance, sophistication and individuality. Once again, the British brand proves that it is the ultimate symbol of automotive refinement.
