Aston Martin Vanquish Volante : The new standard for Grand Touring convertibles

With the Vanquish Volante, Aston Martin boldly returns to the Grand Touring convertible scene. This exceptional model embodies more than 60 years of heritage and craftsmanship, combining timeless refinement with uncompromising power.

Outstanding Engineering for Thrilling Performance

Beneath its elegant silhouette, the Vanquish Volante hides an exceptional powertrain. Its 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine produces 835 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque. This immense power propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 345 km/h.

Each acceleration unleashes a captivating sound. The quad stainless steel exhaust enhances this experience, while the optional Titanium system offers even purer acoustics and reduces weight by 10.5 kg.

Thanks to its bonded aluminium chassis and reinforced underbody stiffening, lateral rigidity improves by 75% compared to the previous model. This architecture delivers sharp handling and impressive road holding.

Dynamic performance reaches new heights with the electronic E-Diff, shifting from fully open to 100% locked in just 135 milliseconds. Paired with the new-generation ESP system offering selectable modes, it ensures maximum control even in demanding conditions.

The Bilstein DTX dampers further enhance driving precision. They allow a distinct character in each mode—GT, Sport, and Sport+. In Grand Touring mode, the car glides effortlessly. Switching to Sport mode unleashes a more aggressive, responsive drive.

A Design by Marek Reichman

Designed by Marek Reichman, the Vanquish Volante immediately captivates with its elegant lines. Every curve reflects the power within while remaining faithful to Aston Martin’s DNA.

Several details elevate the model’s exclusivity. A 13% larger front grille, widened fenders, Matrix LED headlights with signature lighting, and a striking red V12 badge on the side strake all enhance its presence. The design is completed by flush-fitting mirrors and sleek, retractable door handles.

The K-Fold convertible roof stands as a technical masterpiece. It opens in 14 seconds and closes in 16 seconds, even while driving at up to 50 km/h. Additionally, the roof can be operated remotely with the key fob within a two-meter range. Once retracted, its compact form preserves the car’s flowing lines and refined profile.

Exclusivity in Every Finish

Inside, the Vanquish Volante offers a true cocoon of luxury. Premium leather, carbon fiber, and artisanal finishes combine to create a spacious yet sporty environment. The lowered center console increases cabin width and frees space around the driver. Sports Plus seats come standard, while Carbon Performance seats are available for enhanced support.

The latest infotainment system features a 10.25-inch TFT driver display and a 10.25-inch Pure Black touchscreen with full connectivity and capacitive multi-gesture control. Every detail appears crisp and elegant.

For sound, Aston Martin collaborated with Bowers & Wilkins to craft a tailor-made 15-speaker, double-amplified surround system delivering an exceptional audio experience.

A New Chapter in the Aston Martin Legacy

Production will be strictly limited to fewer than 1,000 units per year, ensuring this model’s precious rarity. Each Vanquish Volante can be fully personalized through the Q by Aston Martin program, offering bespoke elements down to hand-embroidered initials or custom-designed components, transforming every car into a unique creation.

This Vanquish Volante also pays vibrant tribute to the 1965 Short Chassis Volante, one of the brand’s rarest models, with only 37 ever built.

“For 60 years, Aston Martin Volantes have defined the art of elegant, sporting, open-top motoring. With its stunning looks and outstanding V12 engine producing more power than any other front-engine production car on sale, Vanquish Volante has taken this philosophy to an entirely new level. At Aston Martin, we are proud to be doing such justice to our heritage while, as the unprecedented performance of the Vanquish Volante shows, keeping our eyes firmly focused on the future.” declared Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Aston Martin.

More than just a convertible, the Vanquish Volante is designed for those seeking an extraordinary driving experience—where power meets elegance and rarity. A true Grand Touring statement, available from the third quarter of 2025.
