Bugatti Tourbillon: the renewal of automotive excellence

Bugatti presents the Tourbillon, a masterpiece of design and performance, embodying 115 years of automotive heritage. This new model, recognisable at first glance, revolutionises Bugatti’s philosophy of “Form Follows Performance”.

The successor to the Chiron, the Tourbillon surpasses its predecessor in every way. Every aspect, from the engine to the chassis to the interior, has been designed from scratch, inspired by the art of watchmaking. Scheduled for a limited production run of 250, the Tourbillon will start leaving the Bugatti workshops in 2026, promising a new era for the legendary brand.

A design inspired by heritage

The Tourbillon takes its inspiration from the iconic bolt-on central spoiler of the ATLANTIC TYPE 57SC, with a refined central ridge that originates in a widened grille, forming an arch above the engine compartment. The brand’s iconic horseshoe grille has a new, wider and more athletic face, improving cooling and efficiency. The one-piece rear light is a perfect embodiment of the ‘Form Follows Performance’ principle, allowing hot air to escape efficiently.

The use of 3D printing for the suspension parts makes the vehicle lighter, while guaranteeing optimum strength and agility. The mastery of these materials in 3D demonstrates Bugatti’s commitment to technological innovation and performance.

A revolutionary engine

The naturally-aspirated 8.3-litre V16 engine, developed in partnership with Cosworth, delivers 1,000 raw horsepower. Three electric motors add a further 800bhp, bringing total power to 1800bhp.This combination enables the Tourbillon to juggle effortlessly between combustion, hybrid and electric modes, adapting perfectly to urban environments and offering breathtaking performance. With a top speed of 445 km/h, the Tourbillon is a masterpiece of aerodynamics and power.

The exceptional craftsmanship of the Bugatti Tourbillon

The interior of the Bugatti Tourbillon celebrates the purity of materials and authenticity. Every element, from titanium and wood to cashmere and sapphire, is meticulously selected to inspire excellence. Inspired by watchmaking, the design has an analogue feel, with over 600 components made by Swiss watchmakers.

The solid aluminium floating console is elegantly integrated into the transmission tunnel, wrapped in crystal glass. The controls are clearly visible, and a high-definition digital screen, which the driver can bring up at will, displays the vehicle’s data and offers a number of connectivity options.
