Lamborghini Egoista: futuristic design reaches its peak after 50 years
Lamborghini has always found a way to impress with an aggressive and futuristic design. From the 350 GT to the Miura or even the Countach and the Gallardo, the bull-inspired brand has always shown a tendency towards a resolutely sporty design and an unconditionally powered-up engine.
The Sant’Agata based society unveiled its Egoista concept car for the celebration of its 50th birthday. This supercar was made in triple copy and it was designed by the Head of Design for Volkswagen Group himself, Walter De Silva.
The ultra-futuristic car design was inspired by a jet fighter. The engine will enable drivers to have an experience similar to pilots. This super-light car mostly made of carbon material is propelled by its 600 horsepower V10 engine.
The Egoista was named after its cockpit made for one passenger only but also because of its special status. Indeed, as a concept car celebrating the car manufacturer 50th birthday, it is kind of a self-made present for Lamborghini. The brand fans will however have the opportunity to find some bits of the Egoista – which draws its sources from Lamborghini’s DNA – in the future cars of the brand.
