Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse: a special edition to be unveiled in September
On the occasion of the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, Lamborghini will unveil an ultra sporty edition of the Lamborghini Gallardo.
Based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo, the Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse is a street legal adaptation of the race car. Made from numerous carbon composite material components and disposing at the same time of components usually used in the world of motorsport, such as its large rear wing, this special edition of the Lamborghini Gallardo seems to challenge its sporty cousins.
Equipped with a powerful V10 engine, and thanks to its aerodynamic carbon components, the Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse is able to reach 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and it can thrust its accelerations up to 320 km/h.
Last but not least, to customize their future fast car, drivers will choose between four different body colours: Giallo Midas, Bianco Monocerus, Grigio Thalasso and Rosso Mars. As for the interior of the compartment, it is almost identical to the Lamborghini Gallardo but it is however available in Alcantara embellished with carbon insets and a Squadra Corse badge.
