Vantage GT12: Aston Martin’s most powerful sports car
Aston Martin just announced the Aston Martin Vantage GT12 came out, a track-inspired sports car, limited to only 100 unique examples. Performances and exceptional attributes for the most accomplished Vantage.
The most powerful Vantage
Entirely re-engineered, the Aston Martin Vantage GT12 is particularly powerful and elegant. Great changes have been made – front and rear, interior and exterior- to make the car lower and wider.
As a result it is an exceptional new Vantage. The Aston Martin Vantage GT12 brings more composed cornering thanks to a reduction in lateral load transfer, ensuring a better handling.
Inspired by motorsport, the aerodynamics pack made with carbon fibre increase its capabilities, as its amazing rear wing and pronounced front splitter. The car reveals a significant downforce and a remarkable level of grip that maintain stability at higher speeds.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT12 goes back to the best of the Vantage series as a supreme driveability on road and striking dynamic performances on track.
Amazing upgrades
The Aston Martin Vantage GT12 has significant qualities. Its carbon fibre components reinforce its aggressive and sporty look as its flared front wings, its bonnet, its carbon-fibre door casings or again its optional carbon fibre roof. Everything is designed to eliminate mass wherever possible what brings the car 100kg less than a standard V12 Vantage S.
Under its bonnet, many improvements have been made such as its 6.0 litre V12 engine generating up to 600 predicted power outputs. To obtain this lighter result, Aston Martin chose Magnesium inlet manifolds with revised geometry, and a lightweight magnesium torque tube.
Inside, the Aston Martin Vantage GT12 remains remarkable with its carbon-fibre components, its touch-sensitive control array and its race-derived carbon-fibre sports seats.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT12 will be revealed at the Geneva International Motor Show on March 3rd and the first deliveries will begin at the end of 2015.
