“Legends of Bugatti” car series was launched in august 2013 during the concours d’ Elegance at Pebble Beach in California. The first one was the Bugatti Veyron Wimille Jean-Pierre and the second one was Jean Bugatti Veyron Bugatti. Bugatti presented this week at the Dubai International Motor Show, the third model in the series “Legends of Bugatti” (there will be only five models presented by Bugatti).
The French brand has a prestigious history that combines luxury supercars and performance icons. These two adjectives perfectly illustrate the Bugatti Veyron Meo Constantini, it will celebrate the historical past and the iconic brand.
The Meo Constantini, like the other series, is based on the sublime Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse.
The Bugatti Veyron Meo Costantini, passion has no limits
The three supercars were built and created by Bugatti, to honor the pilot Bartolomeo ” Meo ” Costantini. Spotted by Ettore Bugatti, during his involvement to improve the Bugatti Type 13, which he was running with, Costantini became a close friend to the founder of the French firm legend. Meo also took place at the head of the Bugatti racing team for many years , winning twice including the iconic Targa Florio race , with a model Type 35 .
The powerful 8-liter W16 engine quad- turbocharged 1,200 hp, allows the exceptional car to make a 0-100 km / h in 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 408 km/h. Those high performances make the kind of roadster the fastest in the world. An amazing success !
The Bugatti Veyron Meo Costantini , a surprising design
The Veyron Edition Legend Meo Costantini, is a beautiful and unique supercar of its kind, with its shiny chrome and striking blue .
Adorned with a beautiful dress as ” Dark blue Bugatti Sport ” designed specifically for this model , the Bugatti Meo Costantini stands by various references to the style Type 35 of the Italian racecar’s driver. The car is wearing a unique exterior paint, with a return to the blue color aluminum polished by the French team and playing the contrast with the carbon material.
The Targa Florio race ‘s configuration route are painted on the underside of the rear wing to complete the exceptional finishes.
The interior features a custom leather trim with blue stitching, while the seats were embroidered with the signature of Meo Costantini .
The aluminum plate representing the Targa Florio track, recalls the racing scenes lasered are present on the door panels.
