Hublot, famous Swiss brand of high-end watches, has unveiled in Houston, on the 13th of last November, its 10th American shop. To celebrate fittingly the event, the traditional ribbon-cutting took place in the presence of Formula 1 pilot Felipe Massa, representing Ferrari Scuderia whose official watch is no other than Hublot : the opportunity to reveal Hublot’s Big Bang Ferrari Texas in the luxurious space of Galleria Mall.
The Big Bang Ferrari Texas, conquering the American dream
Following a conducting common link to Hublot’s and Ferrari’s DNA, matching sport, performance and technology, the Big Bang Ferrari Texas is more distinguished and more mechanical. By its colors, it sells a vibrating tribute to American state of Texas, christened “The Lone Star State”. Just like on Texas’ flag, The Big Bang Ferrari reflects navy blue, red and white tons.
The Big Bang Ferrari Texas, when passion meets power
The Big Bang Ferrari Texas has got of an over-powerful titanium box of 45.5 mm (diameter). Topped with a cylindrical bezel in black ceramic, it offers a stunning depth towards a chronograph movement named Flyback UNICO noticeable thanks to a sapphire dial; a movement worthy of a racing car.
Inspired by the Ferrari Scuderia, there are 330 components that mount the Big Bang Ferrari Texas. A frequency of 28,000Alth/H, a column wheel, a double horizontal clutch and the symbolic prancing horse on the dial at 9, define this surprising alliance. The minute counter is positioned at 3, the watch-hand and index fonts are inspired by Ferrari’s speedometers.
A navy blue leather and Schedoni black rubber bracelet, tone on tone, complete the watch by paying a tribute to the famous Ferrari signature.
Locked up within a display stand inspired by an aluminum medium, in an ultra limited edition of 50 copies, the Big Bang Ferrari Texas, between mechanic sports aggressiveness and watch making marvels, is a one of kind timeless art piece.
