In 2014, for the first time in its history, Graff Diamonds was showcasing its luxury watch and jewelry collections at Baselworld and the British jeweller hit unprecedented heights on the opening day by unveiling the world’s most valuable timepiece ever created : the $55 million Hallucination watch. Hallucinating is not only the price, but also the kaleidoscope of over 100 carats of rare multi-colored diamonds.
A Diamond dream
Considered as the world leader of important diamonds and reknown for showcasing the rarest stones in the world, Graff Diamonds unveiled what is surely the most valuable watch ever created : the $55 million dollar Hallucination watch.
Featuring a stunning kaleidoscope of over 110 carats of extraordinarily rare coloured diamonds, the Graff Hallucination takes jewellery watchmaking to an unprecedented new level.
The Graff Hallucination‘s concept was developed by Laurence Graff himself, chairman of Graff Diamonds, with Graff‘s highly skilled team of designers, gemologists and master craftsmen working for thousands of hours in order to perfect this stunning timepiece and dazzle Baselworld.
Commenting the phenomenally valuable ladies’ watch Laurence Graff says: “The Graff Hallucination is a sculptural masterpiece; a celebration of the miracle of coloured diamonds. For many years I have thought about creating a truly remarkable watch that illustrates our all-consuming passion for diamonds. The Hallucination has made my diamond dream a reality.”
Graff Diamonds presented also the Yellow Splendour – a selection of the world’s most fabulous yellow and white diamond jewellery creations, the Graff Icon Collection, the highly innovative MasterGraff Ultra Flat 43mm, the Graff Butterfly Collection, and the Diamond GyroGraff.
For its first time in its history at Baselworld, Graff Diamonds made a dramatic entrance in the industry’s biggest annual trade show held in Basel, Switzerland. Head to the luxurious l’Hôtel de Paris in Monaco from July 29, to admire the myriad of colored stones of the Hallucination watch.
