The H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Minute Repeater : A horological masterpiece
Founded in the early 19th century, the Swiss watch brand H. Moser & Cie continues to push back the boundaries of innovation. Its latest creation, the Streamliner Minute Repeater, embodies this quest for excellence with a prestigious horological complication : the minute repeater. This unique watch places this sophisticated mechanism at 10 o’clock, visible and audible, while protected by a water-resistant case.
A masterpiece of technology
The gunmetal steel case, 42.3 mm diameter, houses the HMC 905 manual movement. The movement offers an impressive 90-hour power reserve and comes with an integrated bracelet. Water-resistant to 5 ATM water resistance (50 metres), the watch combines robustness and elegance. The HMC 905 movement, composed of more than 400 parts, integrates the minute repeater and tourbillon complications, demonstrating a remarkable technical prowess.
The magic of the minute repeater
The Streamliner Minute Repeater’s minute repeater is a masterpiece of engineering. This mechanism strikes the time using a complex system of miniature hammers and gongs, calibrated to produce an enchanting sound. To fit the rectangular shape of the case, the hammers and gongs have been redesigned to produce clear, powerful acoustics. Under the crystal, these components can be admired in action, while the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock adorns the smoked Aqua Blue ‘Grand Feu’ enamel dial.
With the Streamliner Minute Repeater, H. Moser & Cie marks a new stage in the art of watchmaking. This exceptional watch combines tradition and innovation, offering lovers of fine watchmaking a unique and fascinating experience.
