This watch is Hallmark of Geneva certified. The Traditionnelle World Time appears attired in precious platinum and displays 37 world time zones simultaneously. Its three-part dial is adorned with a hand-enamelled gold world map. Halfway between artisanal refinement and mastered technicality, the new Traditionnelle World Time stands out by its user friendliness enhanced by the crown‐operated activation of all functions.

Carefully worked details

The exclusive watch created by Vacheron Constantin offers exceptional benefits. The realism at the coast and land reliefs appears in a subtle shade of blue and white, achieved by using the grisaille enamel technique. The paint is composed of Limoges white, a rare and very fine powder mixed with oils. It is a difficult material to work with as it requires a real dexterity as well as an extreme precision. The opaque enamel, also present on the Traditionnelle World Time, must be perfect! No flaws are tolerated on the 10 exceptional items proposed by Vacheron Constantin. The disc also has a lot of details: 24 hours with gold indexes and 37 city names painted on a dark opaque blue enamel. The full hours are painted in white and half-hour and quarter-hour in blue sky. The hands are in 18-carat white gold. To finish, the seas, in deep blue shade of enamel, enhance every detail of the continents … it is the fruit of a patient and meticulous work.

This exceptional watch requires more than twenty hours of crafts and a dozen firings to let its beauty shine.

The Traditionnelle World Time watch has a 42.5 mm-diameter platinum case and is water-resistant to 30 meters. This refined case houses the 2460 WT caliber developed and manufactured by Vacheron Constantin. Thanks to this self-winding mechanical movement, the watch is able to offer the 37 world time zones with the day / night indication. Its tuning accuracy is impressive with a stop-seconds system.
