The Mediterranean jewel, Ocean Emerald is a yacht with a luxury engine of 41meters imagined by the cutting edge British architecture firm Norman Foster and built by the French shipyard Rodriguez Yachts in 2009. This spectacularly floating masterpiece focuses all the assets of a modern yacht, with a structure entirely made of aluminum. Simple, functional, uncluttered and beautiful, these are the qualifying words of the Ocean Emerald.
Ocean Emerald for a charter in mildness
The Ocean Emerald can cover 2400 miles in an average speed of 12 knots. Propelled by Caterpillar C3 diesel engines, of a power of 2 x 1400 Hp, its top speed can reach 17.5 knots. The Ocean Emerald is basically not a racing yacht; it was conceived for smooth yachting, comfort and elegance, a boat shaped for the sea’s art living.
The featuring of materials of high quality, such as wood and stainless-steel, gives a design dimension to this ocean treasure, just like the old riggings. Three decks compose the Ocean Emerald, including a sunbathing area flybridge where deckchair, bar, sport facilities, offer a view and a total change of scenery.
An outstanding interior design
The Ocean Emerald’s conception was thought to make every single journey unforgettable. It has got five suites accommodating up to 12 people and served by staff of 7 people. A spacious and radiant master suite affording a full-beam zone that opens on two private terraces. It is located on the main deck at the boat’s front; this cabin is the owner’s.
The other four suites were set in the hull which is aluminum made: two VIP cabins and two double cabins, composed of a Pullman bunk each.
The Ocean Emerald emphasizes the light and space. Inside the yacht, the architects have maximized the amount of natural lighting by integrating wide windows on the ceiling.
But also, light effects that totally change the atmosphere in only few seconds.

The Ocean Emerald offers a unique atmosphere imagined by the famous designers Cassina and Schiffini, who have also created the staff’s outfit for this prestigious yacht.
The ship’s immense saloon is composed of a sofa covered with white leather, a large table accommodating 12 guests, a very contemporary spiral staircase allowing access to the upper deck where the Skylounge sets place.
